Simply Effective provided architectural guidance and software development for an Enterprise-wide financial
data project for Algorithmics.
Project Details
- Gave advice on how to proceed with technical project requirements to the Chief Architect and Project Manager.
- Assisted with an n-tier architecture using EJB's. Performed feasibility studies and performance tests of EJB's
with BEA WebLogic.
- Produced best practices and guided many employees on the use of EJB's.
- Extensively involved with the design. Design patterns such as Factory, Template Method and Adapter were
used. UML was used for notation.
- Extensively used EJB's for middle-ware component services.
- Designed the transaction management. Implemented with Session beans.
- Developed Entity beans utilizing JDBC for bean-managed persistence.
- Designed Web-based tasks using Servlets and Session beans to control workflow.
- Utilized the WebLogic COM bridge to communicate with existing COM components.
